The 2016 conference will be held in Madrid

The conference decided the next conference ICTCHS2016 will be held in Madrid and hosted by University of Balearic Islands and the Universidad Complutense de Madrid by the end of September 2016. All of you are welcome to ICTCHS2016!

The conference successfully held in Tianjin

The conference came to a great success. Professor Xu Hong, the vice dean of Tourism School in Nankai host the conference.  Professor Luo from the University of Balearic Islands and Professor Bai, the dean of Tourism School, Nankai University gave the opening speeches. Professor Jafar Jafari, Professor Gang Li and Professor Bartomeu Deyá and other professors gave the keynote speeches in the academic part of the conference. In the industrial part of the conference we had the President of the HNA Hospitality Group Mr. John Kidd giving a in depth analysis of the hospitality industry situation in China. Mr. Bernando Cabot, the Senior Vicepresident Asia Pacifico Melia Hotels International has also given a very interesting keynote speech. The participants enjoyed all the keynote speeches, the parallel sessions and finally a cruise tour along the Hai River.

ICTCHS 2015 Final Call for Papers

If you have not yet submitted your paper, now you have a second chance - The conference final call for papers is now open. All the interested authors should submit the paper to the Easychair system by June 1, 2015. Please see the submission page for more information. The conference will publish a digital proceedings for all the accepted papers. As last year, the best papers will be invited to fully extended for a special issue on the Tourism Economics journal (ISI indexed).

Professor Jafar Jafari will be our keynote speaker

The internationally wellknown expert in Tourism and Hospitality, Professor Jafar Jafari from of the University of Wisconsin-Stout School of Hospitality Leadership will be our keynote speaker this year.
The title of his talk is: Transfer of Knowledge to and within tourism  - Bridging Academia and the Industry. For more details about him and his speech please refer to our keynote page.

The joint conference of ICTCHS2015 and the ITFN2015 Call for papers
第五届中西旅游大会暨第三届旅游国际学术研讨会将于2015年9月 3 至 6 日
在中国天津召开

After the success of the 4 conference, the joint conference of the 5th International Conference on Tourism and Hospitality between China and Spain (ICTCHS2015) and the 3rd International Tourism Forum at Nankai University ITFN2015 will be held on Sept. 3-6 in Tianjin, China.

Tianjin is the biggest metropolitan port city in northern China near Beijing. Tianjin is the economic center of north China. It is the fourth largest in China in population, after Shanghai, Beijing, and Guangzhou.  It is one of the five cities governed directly under the central government of the People's Republic of China. It  is only  30  minutes  away from  Beijing by the high speed  train.
 
The conference will have two major parts, the academic and the industrial part. The academic part is for research paper presentation. The researchers in tourism and hospitality related fields in China, Spain and all over the world can present their research papers and exchange their research results directly. The industrial part is for enterprises and organizations in tourism and hospitality sectors to make presentations. They can present their experience, discuss and debate critical issues that affect the future direction of tourism and hospitality industry.

The emphasis of this conference is about the new trend, new challenges, new solutions, new methods in both tourism and hospitality research and practice. Papers and industrial presentations of all the areas about tourism, hospitality development, tourist experience, case studies, analysis of tourism resource, hospitality market, and hospitality management about China, Spain and other parts in the world are all welcome.
