ICTCHS2017 successfully held in Chengdu

The conference has been successfully held in Chengdu. Over a hundred scholars from China, Spain, United States, Australia and New Zealand participated the conference. The participants discussed around the main theme of the conference - the new trends, new methodologies and new strategy for the development of tourism and hospitality in the globalization environment. The conference registration is now open. Please go to the registration page to download the registration form. The authors with full paper in English should pay the conference registration fee first. After they can wait for their full paper acceptance mail from the conference to pay the publication fee. The details can be found in the registration page.

第七届中西旅游大会英文全文递交通知

To submit a full version in English is optional. You can choose not to submit a full paper and only present your paper in the conference. All accepted papers can be presented in the conference.

The full papers will pass another screening and modification The final accepted papers will be published by Sichuan University Publishing House (四川大学出版社）in English. The book will be sent to ISI Web of Knowledge in its ISI Proceedings Index(CPCI-SSH—Conference Proceedings Citation Index - Social Science & Humanities)for possible indexing. The final decision of indexing will depend on the quality of the proceedings and the decision of the indexing organization.

在四川成都召开

After the success of the six previous conferences, we are delighted to welcome you to the 7th International Conference on Tourism and Hospitality between China and Spain (ICTCHS 2017). This conference will be held in Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province, China, from July 12 to 14, 2017.

Chengdu is the capital of Sichuan Province. It is the center of science and technology, business, financial and transportation hub in southwest China. It is also an important national high-tech industrial base, business logistics center and comprehensive transportation hub. Participants will sense the economic development of China by participating the conference and establish partnership directly with the Chinese counterpart. Is named after the UNESCO World Food City. Chengdu is famous in history and culture nation-wide. It is named as China's best tourist city and the southern starting point of the Silk Road. We hope that you do not miss this opportunity.

Call for papers All original paper contributions that may help in the mutual understanding of Asian-Western tourism research and development are welcome to submit to the conference. All the papers should be in English. The paper topics can be found in our call for papers page.

The conference has both academic and industrial parts. The academic part is for international researchers in tourism and hospitality related fields from all over the world to exchange their research experience. The industrial part is for the tourism and hospitality professionals to promote the cooperation between China and Spain.
All the accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings unless the authors decide not to do so. In addition, based on the quality, some of the presented papers will be invited to be considered on Tourism Economics Journal (SSCI) for a full extension. Tourism Economics has published three special issues for our conference. For all the authors that would like to enter the journal paper selection, your paper should be in English and in full length.

Organizers The conference is organized jointly by the cooperation of the Sichuan University and the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, the University of Balearic Islands in Spain.  The local organizer and promoter is the Sichuan University. As an established structure of the conference, the main conference responsible coordinator and global organizer is the Tourism Faculty, University of Balearic Islands, Spain.

Journal Publication Possibilities We will have journal publication possibilities for the selected papers among the accepted papers in the conference. The Tourism Economics is one of them. To be selected for the journal publication, your paper should fit into the scope of the journal. The paper should be in full length and in English.  The papers will pass a peer to peer review. The papers should be well written in topic, structure and English.
